Keegan had the hiccups last night

1st Dr's Appt for Keegan

The Lord speaks

My Thoughts from Saturday 2-21-09

Today Erin and I were blessed to bring Keegan home from the hospital. As I locked her car seat into the base unit in backseat of my Nissan Xterra there was a song that had just come on the radio. The song was "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman. I had never heard that song before today.

The lyrics of the song began to speak so loudly, and it was amazing how everything had worked out so that at that exact moment it would be playing on the radio as I was taking my four day old daughter for her first car ride and her first trip home.

In that moment God spoke to me, with the gentleness of a wise Father, to let me know that Keegan was my daughter but that she was His Child. That my time with her on earth would be ever changing and that there would be no do over's and that when a moment was gone that it would be gone forever. God told to make the most of each moment with my new princess.

Here is the link to the Steven Curtis Chapman video, with his commentary after the song.

I will tell you the rest of the story after you watch the video
